Bio-Morphic Abstractions

During Juli 2012 I did a large number of large ink drawings

some of  which I’d love to show you today

title Bio-Morphic Abstractions

ink on paper, 90X180cm

I have nicked the title from one of the articles in Tate modern retrospective catalog of Juan Miro

i think the title suited what i wanted to do in this series

give us a shout, i wanna know what you think

The maturity of this series ls unmistakeable very strong work. It feels like discovering genius watching a talented person discover their bliss and lifes work. This conversation of ink on paper feels like a prelude to something important, something indisputably great by any standard. It’s like a runner finding their “second wind” or a cyclist selecting another gear.
Like the conductor tapping lightly on the stand signals his intentions and commands the assembly to cease the practice because the real work is about to begin each drawing is like that tiny rap of the baton an unmistakeable signal of intention.
    Are you ready?
