5 years since THE KING’S LAND

Hey, it’s 5 years since I did the King’s Land project in Haggerston East London, in spring-summer 2012. I spent 4 months covering a condemned housing estate in murals – all of them drawn by hand! Not a spray can in sight. A lot of it was paste ups but some of it I painted directly on the wall. Will post more of this over the next few days.

The idea was not to do ‘street art’ as much as, to activate the space, to bring life into a dead zone.
